Chris Boyce is an accomplished technology entrepreneur who brings more than 15 years of consumer loyalty, enterprise and consumer software experience to Virgin HealthMiles. He joined the company in 2006 as EVP, Product, Marketing, and Business Development. Soon after, Chris became Virgin HealthMiles’ CEO and joined the company’s board of directors. Leveraging Virgin’s philosophy that business should be a force for good, Chris’ leadership has been instrumental in guiding Virgin HealthMiles’ development of market-leading, technology-based products and services that help employers improve workforce health, boost employee engagement, and enhance corporate culture.
PRESIDENT, CLIENT SERVICES AND MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
David Coppins brings a depth of consumer experience to the Virgin HealthMiles management team. David joined Virgin HealthMiles from Upromise, a 13 million member saving for college rewards program, where he served as co-founder and President. Leveraging Virgin’s “consumer champion” roots, David oversees the integration of client services and member engagement to ensure both employers and employees reach their goals. David’s group leads the application of innovative consumer marketing best practices to drive sustained member engagement and impactful business results for clients.

Derek Ransom is a seasoned finance executive with deep experience in driving great growth in start-up technology businesses. In 2010, Derek became Virgin HealthMiles’ CFO and joined the company’s board of directors. Derek applies Virgin’s ‘screw business as usual’ philosophy to accelerate the company’s growth and drive shareholder value. Derek not only looks after all finance activities, he also oversees anything legal and HR-related. He keeps the company in compliance and ensures Virgin HealthMiles is a great place to work.
JENNIFER TURGISS, DrPH, MS
VP, HEALTH SOLUTIONS
Jennifer Turgiss has over 20 years’ experience in senior management roles at national and global health and wellness organizations. Largely responsible for getting Virgin HealthMiles off the ground, Jennifer joined the company in 2005 and is currently VP, Health Solutions. As a client champion, Jennifer leads the development and implementation of client best practices and oversees all client-based analytics projects. Jennifer is a social and behavioral scientist. She has an MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Colorado and a doctorate in Public Health from Boston University.

Richard Boylan has spent more than 15 years in technology leadership roles. He joined Virgin HealthMiles as a member of the founding leadership team in 2004. As Virgin HealthMiles’ SVP, Product Development and Technology, Richard oversees product and technical development, build, implementation, and operations for all Virgin HealthMiles’ products.

Jamie McLeod’s an accomplished sales professional and early-stage business creation architect. Jamie’s been a member of Virgin HealthMiles’ founding management team since 2004. As the company’s SVP, Business Development and Sales, Jamie oversees Virgin HealthMiles’ rapid sales growth and leads all business development and channel partnerships. Previously, Jamie served as the company’s VP, Business Development. Since he joined the company, Jamie’s been instrumental in establishing key partnerships and distribution agreements, and developing Virgin HealthMiles’ thriving regional direct sales activities.

Chiang Ying Yi has spent over 15 years in various leadership roles developing cutting-edge software and hardware technologies in the health and physical activity tracking industries. As VP of Engineering and Architecture, Chiang leads Virgin HealthMiles’ architectural and technological transformation, both devising and spearheading the company’s internal methodologies and application development lifecycle transformation to best respond to rapidly growing product capabilities. Chiang is also responsible for Virgin HealthMiles’ hardware design, development and manufacturing.

Boots Crossley is an experienced relationship management executive who’s been a key member of the Virgin HealthMiles team since 2006. As the VP, Client and Member Services, Boots oversees all aspects of Virgin HealthMiles’ client services team and leads the team’s strategic approach to client-lifecycle management. Boots’ clear focus on serving as the customer’s champion has contributed greatly to developing and sustaining successful client relationships with top executives and key contacts at leading enterprise employers.

Melissa Frieswick brings more than 15 years’ experience in the employee health and productivity, benefits and consulting industries to the Virgin HealthMiles leadership team. Melissa joined Virgin HealthMiles in 2013 as VP, Strategic Solutions. She has direct accountability for the growth of our existing client partnerships. Before Virgin HealthMiles, Melissa served as a Business Leader and Senior Consultant at Dominium Benefits. There, she led the development of Dominium’s health and productivity practice, and was instrumental in the firm’s market expansion and growth strategy.

Ron Hildebrandt brings over 12 years’ experience marketing and selling products that improve employee performance to enterprise customers. Ron joined Virgin HealthMiles in 2013 as head of product marketing. Ron leads the development of Virgin HealthMiles' go-to-market strategy, messaging and positioning, and new product direction. Ron is also responsible for Virgin HealthMiles’ public communications including press, consultants and digital media audiences.Ron came to Virgin HealthMiles from Enkata, a successful, venture-backed Bay Area analytics and performance management company that he co-founded in 2001.

Steve brings a track record of building award-winning commercial software products and more than 13 years of software engineering leadership experience to Virgin HealthMiles. Steve joined Virgin HealthMiles in 2013. As Vice President of Engineering, Steve is responsible for the vision and execution of the software engineering organization, including strategic planning, system architecture, product design, implementation, delivery, and operational maintenance of the company’s suite of software as a service offerings. Prior to joining Virgin HealthMiles, Steve held technology leadership roles at Constant Contact and Brightcove, two of the most successful SaaS companies in their respective industries.

John Sutliffe’s a seasoned sales professional with more than 15 years of SaaS sales and leadership experience. John joined Virgin HealthMiles in 2012 as VP, Sales and brings a proven ability to generate global revenue and close complex sales engagements with top executives at multi-national companies. In his role, John oversees all aspects of Virgin HealthMiles’ direct sales team and ensures the company offers compelling solutions that meet prospective customers’ needs. John joined Virgin HealthMiles from Kenexa, a global provider of business solutions for human resources where he served as Global Vice President of Sales.
