I have always been at a good weight for my height, but needed to incorporate physical activity to improve my circulation due to the onset of Reynaud’s Syndrome. Like everyone else, I found it difficult, if not impossible to find the time to squeeze in any exercise at all. There was always an excuse – it’s too hot, too cold, too rainy, I’m too busy – the list goes on.
Recently, I started doing squats at the sink while brushing my teeth; leg lifts at the stove while stirring the pot, more leg lifts while washing or rinsing dishes and dancing to my iPod while vacuuming and dusting. These small changes have improved my circulation dramatically, and have not taken any additional time – no need to get up extra early, no need to try to get to the gym at the end of a busy day when household chores are calling!
I have lost weight in the process, lowered my blood pressure and feel 100% better. Anyone can do this and benefit from these small, but significant changes. Thanks for letting me share!
